Welcome to 1st Johnston Scout Group

Every year we help young people enjoy new adventures, experience the outdoors, make new friends, gain confidence, and have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We have a wide range of opportunities available working alongside our adult volunteers and youth members, so come on in and find out more. Visit our News Page for our Group Programme.
YRE Exhibition Community Impact DayOur Scouts recently took part in and won the Young Reporters for the Environment competition, finding our more about the impact of marine litter on the gannet colony on Grassholm. Please click onto our YRE page to find out more.

The official opening of our Scout and Community Hall took place on 1st May 2015 with the then UK Chief Commissioner for The Scout Association Mr Wayne Bulpitt (pictured). The Hall was packed out with beavers cubs, scouts, leaders, helpers, parents, representatives from County and Community Councils, Church in Wales, Methodist Church, local and Welsh Scouting, and the local community. It was a fantastic evening, and as you will see from Mr Bulpitt's tweets below, one he was thoroughly impressed with!
